TWO WEEKS TO SUBMIT!

There’s still time to get your submissions in for the eleventh #AimAwards2022 before the extended deadline of midnight, Tuesday 17 May.

What do Arlo Parks, Five Finger Death Punch and Jorja Smith and their teams have in common? They’ve all been recognised as breakthrough artists today’s two category highlights:

UK Independent Breakthrough:

Honouring an artist [and the people working with them] who has caused a UK buzz, whether they are home-grown or have caused a frenzy in the UK from overseas.

The artist must be signed to a UK/ROI based independent label OR be a self-releasing artist based in the UK/ROI.

Moses Boyd (Exodus Records)
Jorja Smith (FAMM)

International Breakthrough:

Recognising a stellar artist [and team] who has made a significant impact over the last year in territories other than where they are based.

The artist must be signed to a UK/ROI based independent label OR be a self-releasing artist based in the UK/ROI.

Submissions fees are kept low or free and the 18 categories include:

– Best Independent Track

– Best Boutique Label (FKA Best Small Label)
– Best Creative Campaign (FKA Best Creative Packaging)
– Best Independent EP / Mixtape

AIM’s Rightsholder and Distributor members submit for free.
